Both soldering irons and grinders will benefit tremendously from this product. Why? Soldering iron tips are prone to siezing or freezing in place so that you can no longer replace the tip. Grinder heads sieze when the glass dust mixes with glass and forms a sort of "concrete" preventing grinder bit removal. This anit-sieze compound goes a long way towards preventing siezing of tips and bits. It allows for exchanging tips and grinder bit for the different jobs you are trying to do.


This product is specially formulated for high temperatures as a lubricant for tip threads. Periodic application will reduce thread oxidation and "tip freezing". Simply apply the compound to the shaft of the soldering iron. For grinders, apply the anti-size compound to the shaft of your glass grinder prior to cleanind the shaft to prevent the grinding head from freezing to the shaft. Helps to put a little on the set screw also. 1/2 oz tube.
